Meetings Without Borders

IEM Expands its International Meeting Expertise

As the world gets smaller due to advances in technology and travel, meeting planners find themselves managing more events across cultures and borders. The challenges of producing and staging cross-border meetings can be overwhelming…language barriers, varying electrical requirements, different audio visual equipment manufacturers and specifications, video/DVD playback and computer operating systems compatibility issues. Working with a vendor experienced in producing meetings outside the US is an important step in ensuring a successful, cost-effective and stress-reduced event.

That’s why IEM’s corporate and association clients rely on us to manage their global meetings and events. Our cross-border technology and labor management experience, along with our strategic international alliances, enables IEM to successfully develop and manage meetings literally anywhere in the world

IEM Announces Steady Growth in 2006

Atlanta (January 19, 2007)
Integrated Event Management (IEM), a premier provider of creative and technical production and meeting management services for corporations and associations worldwide, announced today that the company experienced solid growth in 2006.

"We are pleased to see the continuing growth of IEM," said Tom Kann, President and Founder of IEM. “This progress is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of the entire IEM team and to the confidence our clients maintain in our ability to deliver effective results – on time and within budget.” Last year, IEM produced and managed over 56 corporate and associations meetings and events within the US, Canada, Greece, and Brazil. 2007 looks to be another successful year with projects taking IEM throughout North America, Scotland, Bahamas, Fiji, and Italy.

In support of this growth, IEM expanded their production team in 2006 to include seasoned veterans - Nancy McFarland and Robert McLeod.

McFarland, Director of Marketing & Production Services, has over 25 years of experience in account management and Fortune 100 event production.

McLeod, Project Manager, will be instrumental in expanding IEM’s presentation service offerings such as advance and on-site presentation technology management and IEM’s premier presentation recording system, Instant Archive™.      back to top
